A selected bibliography of Alabama county and regional planning and development documents, 1939-1974.

One function of the Alabama Development Office was to encourage comprehensive planning for economic development. This two volume bibliography lists by county publications related to Alabama local planning and development. Volume I covers the period 1939-1973. The other volume, though unnumbered is a revision of Volume I. The volumes were created by the Alabama Development Office, though used by the Dept. of Economic and Community Affairs, created in 1983.
